Sportsbet has been announced as the new exclusive wagering partner of the Australian Trainers’ Association (ATA), in a deal that aims to enhance the profile of trainers and connect the industry with new audiences. ATA chief executive Stephen Bell confirmed the partnership ahead of the upcoming racing season, highlighting that trainers will now have opportunities to expand their personal brands through Sportsbet’s extensive platforms.
“Sportsbet has been at the forefront of innovation and content in the racing industry for well over a decade, so they are the perfect partner to showcase the incredible stories that exist within our training ranks and we can’t wait to work with them to bring those to light,” Bell said.
“The racing industry relies on content from the likes of Sportsbet to connect our great industry with the next generation of racing fans, so we look forward to seeing this partnership evolve and a new audience enjoy the amazing people and horses that are involved in Australian racing.”
Sportsbet, which is Australia’s largest corporate bookmaker with over 2.4 million customers, has long been a key player in the local wagering landscape. Chief commercial officer Nathan Arundell emphasised the company’s commitment to the sport.
“Sportsbet is proud to partner with the Australian Trainers’ Association and support our trainers whose work, commitment and passion drive the racing industry forward,” Arundell said.
“This partnership reflects our unwavering commitment to bringing excitement to racing for generations to come. We look forward to working closely with the ATA to help grow a strong, sustainable future for Australian racing.”
