Snowden filly returns positive drug test

The Peter Snowden-trained Moravany has returned a positive swab to two banned substances following her victory at Hawkesbury in September.

The filly tested positive to phenylbutasone and oxyphenbutasone – non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drugs used for the short-term treatment of pain or fever in horses.

Racing NSW stewards will hold an inquiry into the matter on Monday.
