Black Caviar will face six rivals, three of them stablemates, in Saturday’s Group One Patinack Farm Classic at Flemington.
The champion will be shooting to take her unbeaten run to 16 in the $1 million 1200-metre straight six race.
She has drawn barrier four and will have regular rider Luke Nolen in the saddle.
Her trainer Peter Moody will also start Mid Summer Music (gate two), Curtana (three) and Panipique with the latter drawing the outside.
Former Horse Of The Year Scenic Blast has drawn the rails while Buffering (five) and Response (six) round out the field.
