This weekends feature race at Randwick the G2 Apollo Stakes has attracted a star studded field.
The Group Two event over 1400m at Randwick will see the return of some of Sydney’s best gallopers including Caulfield Cup winner Verry Ellegant who has been well backed in early betting with Sportsbet.
Multiple G1 winner Kolding will wear the number one saddle cloth the field with the likes of Colette and Funstar also lining up in the quality edition of the race.
Funstar opened as the $2.50 favourite with the TAB on Monday when nominations were announced with Verry Elleegant on the second line of betting, outside of the two star mares it looks an open race.
