Victorian jockey Michael Dee will require surgery to repair a broken collarbone after a fall at Pakenham on Sunday.
Mick Dee was transported to Dandenong hospital after a fall after winning the fifth race on the card at Pakenham when a riderless horse and a clerk of the course in pursuit crossed his path and caused his mount to fall.
