Chautauqua has once again failed to jump with the rest of the field in a barrier trial at Rosehill with his career all but over despite going close to winning.
Connections are likely to argue the horse jumped but was just slow although it is likely to be the end of Champion sprinter Chautauqua’s career, at least in Australia.
