Boom 3YO out of Warwick Farm feature

Boom 3YO gelding Nature Strip will not line-up in Saturdayโ€™s $250,000 Inglis Sprint due to a bug the horse is currently fighting.

Nature Strip will be scratched from the Inglis Sprint where he was the $2.60 favourite behind last years Golden Slipper winner She Will Reign who was at $1.70 and will now be the long odds on favourite in markets.

Sadler, who took over the training of the three-year-old this week, told Sky Sports Radio the blood test indicated he may have the beginnings of a virus.

โ€œHe threw up a pretty ordinary blood,โ€ Sadler said.

โ€œI think heโ€™s fighting a little bug so weโ€™ll keep him in the stable and treat him over the next couple of days then heโ€™ll have a little break.โ€

Nature Strip, the winner of four of his five starts, was the $2.50 second favourite behind She Will Reign who was the $1.55 favourite before his withdrawal.
