Black Caviar remains unbeaten after dazzling win in Lightning

World champion sprinter Black Caviar showed her class with a freakish win in the Group 1 Lightning Stakes (1000m).

Black Caviar had four lengths to spare at the line from Hay List, with Warm Love third.

Grand Duels was fourth, just ahead of Crystal Lily.

However, it was the manner of her win which had punters talking.

She was hardly touched by her jockey Luke Nolen in the run to the line, and could easily have won by further.

Today’s win was her ninth from nine starts.

She’ll be aiming to continue her unbeaten streak in the Group 1 Newmarket Handicap (1200m) on March 12.

Weights for the Newmarket are released on March 1.
