Cheeky bite delays race meeting

In one of the most amusing delays at a racecourse that we have ever heard about, a farrier at Queanbeyan has been bitten on the arse by a horse which delayed a race.

A farrier at Queanbeyan was working on a runner before Race 4 on the card when he was bitten on the arse by another horse in the race which caused him to faint meaning there was a short delay to the re-shoeing of a horse which pushed the race back a few minutes.

We aren’t farriers but we have definitely been bitten on the arse by a few racehorses in our time… cough Tom Melbourne…
