Chris Munce to be fit for Rosehill

Chris Munce has told stewards he will be fit to ride in Sydney on Saturday despite hurting his foot in an incident at Ipswich.

Munce was stood down from riding at Fridayโ€™s Ipswich meeting after he sustained grazing to his left foot after being kicked.

He will have to undergo a medical examination on arrival at Rosehill.

Among Munceโ€™s six rides are Nobby Snip and Charing Cross for trainer Gai Waterhouse and New Zealand filly Dowager Queen in the Group Two Tea Rose Stakes.

โ€œChris Munce has indicated that he will be suitable to fulfil his engagements at Rosehill Gardens tomorrow,โ€ Racing NSW deputy chief steward Marc Van Gestel said in a statement.
