Sportsbet.com.au is tipping Aussie ace Hugh Bowman to have the wood on world superstar Joao Moreira at Randwick on Saturday.
The online bookmaker has Bowman at $1.50 to ride more winners than Moreira ($2.50). Both have eight rides, but in a generous offer, Moreira is $3.00 to ride at least one winner at the meeting.
Bowman is also the $1.90 favourite to win the Nathan Berry Medal, ahead of Kerrin McEvoy ($5.00) and Tommy Berry ($5.50). In the training battle Chris Waller, with four runners, is $1.80 favourite to have the first runner home in the Doncaster, ahead of Darren Weir ($3.00) and David Hayes-Tom Dabernig ($4.20).
