Hollindale Stakes 2026 – Tips, Field, Betting, Odds and Horse Previews

Half Yours wins the 2025 Melbourne Cup

The feature race at the Gold Coast is the AD Hollindale Stakes (1800m), where the race shapes up to a beauty.

Down below is a speed map, runner preview and $100 betting strategy for 2026 AD Hollindale Stakes.

2026 AD Hollindale Stakes Runner Preview:

1. Half Yours: Half Yours, to the eye, was good in the All Aged. Not saying he wasn’t good…but was he flattered by going past tired horses? I say yes, but on the flip side, he was first up at 1400m off a Melbourne Cup, so the fact he went past horses was very encouraging. Class will carry him a long way, he can win for sure…but for mine, I’ll just watch.

2. Knight’s Choice: Great to see the 2024 Melbourne Cup winner return but despite extensive trial work, I think he’ll need the run.

3. Birdman: The weather determines his claims and how strong they are. If the track dries out, genuine winning chance/top seed. If the track remains to be genuinely soft, I say he’ll struggle.

4. Future History: Not here to play.

5. Kovalica: Didn’t think he was too bad in the All Aged but I have others ahead of him.

6. Militarize: Ran well in the Doncaster but I have doubts on him running 1800m.

7. Golden Path: Sneaky going well this horse. Not sure he can win, but could run top four at a price.

8. Zoology: Outclassed.

9. Pride Of Jenni: I think she could easily blow this field away if the track is playing up/in, which it can do on occasion. But, is she cast? I think she is and want to be hard against her because I think she has been seriously flattered in all runs back.

10. She’s A Hustler: Big fan of She’s A Hustler. Loved her return in the Queen Of The Turf, charging to the line from off speed behind Idle Flyer in a super first up effort. Has eyes on the Doomben Cup/Q22 but I think the way she returned, better set up here, I think she’ll take beating.

11. Miss Joelene: Miss Joelene loves racing at the Gold Coast and clearly appeals as a knockout hope. Did a really good job against the pattern two weeks back in the Brisbane Handicap, working home with real purpose. Big rider upgrade, a win wouldn’t shock.

2026 AD Hollindale Stakes Speed Map

With Pride Of Jenni engaged, it does seem pretty straight forward here with her leading and rolling. The question will be who takes it up to drag the field to her. Golden Path maybe? Future History despite being first up?
