The Matty Smith trained son of Deep Impact had a few options leading into this Saturday, but tackles this race over 2000m with Nash Rawiller to steer. Opened $3.40 but with Finche and Verry Elleegant already out, he went to $2.10, and has been slightly easy, now at $2.20.
In terms of one at odds that has been specked post scratchings, it is Dadoozdart, an eye catcher in the Bill Ritchie two weeks ago. He opened $27 but after scratchings got to $21 before being specked into $17.
