One of the feature races at Eagle Farm this Saturday is the BRC Sires Produce Stakes (1400m), where the market says it is an open race.
Down below is a speed map, runner preview and $100 betting strategy for 2026 BRC Sires Produce Stakes.
2026 BRC Sires Produce Stakes Runner Preview:
1. Vantorix: All you can do is win and that is what 1 Vantorix has done in three starts, the latest in the Spirit Of Boom when given a 12/10 by J Mac and finished best to score. 1400m is the query, he’s still mentally there, but the engine clearly is.
2. Blind Raise: 2/2 to start his career, to the eye has been impressive each start…but has he beaten a great deal? I am saying no, and there is serious depth to this field. I am hard against him.
3. Silken Salute: Finished strongly when back in trip when second in the Ken Russell. Should love getting to 1400m. Just where does he get to from the draw.
4. Martist: I have said since day one that Martist is the best 2YO in the stable of Tony Gollan and I thought he was super in his return in the Spirit Of Boom, closing with real purpose late in the piece when second to Vantorix. I do feel he is more suited at 1400m vs Vantorix, with good upside…I think he’s the each way bet.
5. Stormy Marco: He won on debut at Hawkesbury in the Clarendon…but I have my doubts on that race and how real it was given the track and the fact he had the right run. But, he has the Waller polish and enormous upside.
6. Bohemian Rhapsody: Good late first up at Pakenham but this looks too hard.
7. Kickup Rocky: Nice horse but not ready for this level.
8. Macedon Mission: Solid win last start but I have others ahead of him.
9. Nations League: Working progress but the level he can go to…I don’t think he’ll reach this level.
10. Quarterback: Quarterback is three weeks between runs since racing at Gosford when off speed and tried hard, worked to the line well but had no answers for I Am Dirty, who bolted up last Saturday to frank the form. Tick over trial was quite strong…he’s a definite watch.
11. Tron Bolt: Had the A1 run last start but the arrogance of the win was something else. He looks the #1 seed for Waller in this race and commands respect.
12. Berzelius: Has talent but mentally, he’s not there.
13. Home Tomurra: Nice colt but he’s not up to these surely.
14. Dream Roca: Talented but think she’s just a level below these.
15. I Am Dirty: Dominant last Saturday in the Bill Carter but she had the A1 run in transit. Doubt she gets that here and this is much harder.
16. Autumn Charm: The fresh blood I feel. Dominant at Flemington last time and maps to get a sweet sit in transit. Very dangerous.
17. Leaveas Of Lorian: Not up to these.
18. The Autumn Affair: The Autumn Affair was too bad to be true in the Spirit Of Boom. She got into a decent spot off speed but just whacked in the run to the line in a plain effort. I have had her earmarked as a JJ horse for a while so now at 1400m in the key lead up, it’s contender or pretender time.
19. Cormier (First Emergency): Cormier was a dynamic winner during the Scone Carnival, giving them a start and a beating and let down with real purpose when asked by Bullock. He’s looked a beast since early on in trial work and confirmed it on debut. He can win this and be a top seed for the JJ Atkins.
20. Girmay (Second Emergency): Pass.

2026 BRC Sires Produce Stakes Speed Map
Blind Raise was ridden with intent to win at Flemington last start and suspect he’ll be ridden similar here. They will likely spear across from the wide gate with I Am Dirty, while Vantorix should lob handy. But, I can’t see much front end pressure.
