Did he beat much? No, but the manner in which he put them away and how impressive he was, it was sharp. Tick over jumpout was good, he’ll be strong late…like him.
3. Alibaba: Can make a case to say this guy wins the Merson Cooper with clear air. Tick over jumpout was strong…reckon he’ll be better over further, but he’ll launch late and a win wouldn’t shock at all.

6. Good Feel: Sat on speed and battled away pretty well in defeat albeit had his chance. Think he needs it easier.
7. High Alert: Good guide for him here is that he has had the 1050m trial under the belt, so the grounding is well and truly there. Watch betting.
8. Invicto: Bred to be a nice horse and his recent jumpout win was quite good. Drawn wide, but think will press forward and stable is flying with their juveniles.
9. Silent Grit: Has surprisingly looked strong in jumpout work. That said, I think he may need more time.
