The big money has arrived for Black Caviar with one Sportingbet Australia punter placing a bet of $1 million at $1.06.
Sportingbet Australia CEO Michael Sullivan said he was determined to keep laying Black Caviar whenever she runs around.
“Black Caviar is a horrible result for us whenever she runs around,” said Sullivan.
“But you’d feel sick as a bookmaker if she got beaten and you got nothing out of it.”
Sportingbet Australia is still betting $1.06 about the champion mare.
