Heavy rain saw some small fields at Wyong today, but that didn’t deter the punters as they stepped up to make it an interesting day of betting.

Smart money on the #9 Smokin’ Tiger ($6 into $3.80) saw the bookies keen to lay other runners in the market, including the drifting Lady Bullmore ($3.50 out to $5). But I t was to be the punters who walked away with the cash as Lady Bullmore skipped away for a soft win.
