Nicconi ridden by Craig Williams has taken out the Mitty’s McEwen Group 3 Stakes beating some of Australia’s best sprinters.
Nicconi has fought very hard to beat home Morgan Dollar and Secret flyer in the Group 3 McEwen stakes at Moonee Valley. Nicconi sat just off the speed and let Morgan Dollar have a small break before making his run and wearing down the grey.
Nicconi has shown he is going to be a big contender this spring after winning impressively today beating some of the best sprinters.
