Adam Page gives us his best bets for tomorrows racing, it looks to be a great betting day and hopefully he can select us some winners.
Rosehill Race Two Number One Dream Choice
Really liked his run last week behind Saramenha. Was no match for her but he beat the others with ease.
Bumps into Foxwedge, who looked the goods in a recent trial, but trial form doesn’t always matter 100%
when it comes to raceday. Dream Choice puts the blinkers on and has race experience, which is vital at this
stage of the season.
Rosehill Race Five Number Seven Pyrography
The 900m start at Newcastle is tricky. So when a horse misses the start by two lengths…well, on most
occasions your ticket is confetti. But Pyrogrpahy changed all that with a brilliant first up effort, winning like a
blacktype horse. Has to take the next step here but she is drawn beautifully in barrier five and should get a
lovely run off the back of a hot speed.
Moonee Valley Race One Number Eleven Invincible Jess
Bit surprised she is at $9 given her form. On debut finished second behind Royal Bender, who performed
well in stakes company during the spring. Bumped into Soul on a bog track at Flemington and then finished
within a half length of Yorkshire Lad, who nearly won during the Melbourne Cup Carnival. She bolted in last
start at Hamilton and the penny may have finally dropped with her. She’s drawn barrier one, so Bossy will
have her in the plum spot, ready to pounce.
Moonee Valley Race Five Number Ten Lakedro
On face value, he was ordinary at Flemington when well backed. His excuse may have been that he was
ridden too far back. Expect Nikolic to have him closer from barrier three and look, he meets an ordinary
bunch here, so if he wants to go on to better things, he should win with a leg in the air.
Doomben Race One Number Seven Stage Exit
Ran a nice race in the Breeders Plate after striking trouble. The 3.2L margin from Smart Missile, who could
be potentially one of the most gifted horses Australia has seen, doesn’t reflect how good his run was. Not up
against world beaters in this race and he looks a good thing, despite the forecast for a wet track.
Doomben Race Four Number Five Kaunda
If he brings his A-game, he should roll these comfortably. Worked home well behind Samui Lad last start
and prior to that ran along side some handy horses, like the smart Waterhouse sprinter Pureness. Should
drift back from the wide gate and with a trail in the race, he can sprint hard to victory.
Morphettville Race Three Number Three Jeter
Very promising Patinack horse. Toughed it out at Gawler two starts back, then came home with a flurry to
get the chocolates at the same track/distance as this race. Will be ridden cold and Gatt will save her up for
one final run, which seems to be her go. Very keen on her prospects.
Morphettville Race Four Number Three Electronic Million
This bloke will win. Tough effort last start in the Ararat Cup when pressured throughout yet still was giving
on the line. That was his first run in five weeks so he should be roaring to go for this. Frews 3kg claim is a
bonus here and with no speed here, the young kid can control the race from the front and make it a 400m
dash for cash.
Ascot Race One Number Six Ranger
If he gets a start in the Railway (second emergency) I think he’ll go close to winning. If he doesn’t, this will
be an easy consolation. Won his maiden at Pinjarra first up then was thrown into the R.J. Peters Stakes last
week when settling last and rattling home to finish within a head of winner God Has Spoken. He looks one of
the better bets of the year in this race.
