Betfair Park will host an eight event card on Wednesday. Victorian punters have a Big 6 to have a go at with races 3-8 being the six legs.

Form Guide

Leg 1 – Solid three-year-old fillies race to kick off the Big 6. God Help Her closed off the race very strongly last start behind the above average Tahitian Black when finishing third. The extra 100m should suit and she looks a leading player. Dangers are Evie Rose (if it’s wet), Attributes, Lady Lorne, Margiela and Catgotyourtongue.

Leg 2 – I can only see as a two horse race here with Celebrity Girl and Firepit. The raced horses haven’t shown much and you’d expect Kav and Lee Freedman to have their respective horses wound up.

Leg 3 – I’m going to be brave and stand out Belle Chantecler. She missed the kick and that was the end of her chances at Caulfield last start but her form prior to that was very good in Adelaide. The 1300m won’t be an issue and if she gets away cleanly, she’ll get the gun run and with only 54kg to carry thanks to Jack Hills claim, she’ll be very hard to beat.

Leg 4 – Sense Of Sun is flying this preparation for Sheila Arnold. Sat back last start and when Steve Arnold pulled he put pay to them in three strides. The barrier and weight is a slight concern so for safety put in Grand Ranson, Itimi, Colonial Boy and Faster Stronger.

Leg 5 – Can’t split the Smerdon runners, Chief Of Staff and No Means Go. Cheif Of Staff is having his first run for Smerdon and if he brought his previous form here, he’ll be right in the finish while No Means Go is flying at present and can win here in not an overly strong race.

Leg 6 – This looks a good race for Storm Burst to record her first win this prep. Finished second to Miss Elvee first up, then was very good behind Miss Gai Flyer in the Kevin Hayes before having no luck at Betfair Park. Then at Flemington she was wide, pressed on to lead, kicked at the 200m before weakening late. This is the easiest race she has contested and the Moody/Nolen combination gets her home in the last.

Leg 1: 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 9

Leg 2: 1, 2

Leg 3: 11

Leg 4: 2, 3, 4, 8, 15

Leg 5: 5, 7

Leg 6: 7
