Race One (11:45) : Hyland Race Colours Handicap 1500m:
Back Me: 11 Sugar Bella (Bet Now: $5.50) has won two from two to kick off her career, both at Goulburn. The latest win came against the older horses and gee was impressive that afternoon. She will handle the rise here with no dramas I suspect.
Big Danger: 2 High Mist (Bet Now: $6.50) was a touch disappointing here two back before racing here again where he looked most unlucky behind Mortons Fork. Has upside and is of course in the right stable.
Roughie: 4 Fanfaron (Bet Now: $6.50) ran over 1400m here a fortnight back where he sat near the speed and fought on well when third to stablemate Mortons Fork. Up to 1500m is ideal and has upside.

Race Two (12:20) : Schweppes Handicap (82) 2000m:
Back Me: 6 Esteban (Bet Now: $1.60) has been very impressive in getting the job done at his past three outings, the latest coming here last time out when bolting home. Should take some beating here if he gets a cheap run on speed.
Big Danger: 5 Rock Mylady (Bet Now: $12.00) ran second to Esteban in that race mentioned above and she was game in defeat I thought, chasing that eventual winner the whole way. With luck, she can turn the tables.
Roughie: 8 Lie Direct (Bet Now: $13.00) did some work to sit on speed three weeks back at Randwick and he showed tremendous fight but had to settle for a close up second to Major Major. He will have to work again but he has to be a live chance.

Race Three (12:55) : TAB Highway Plate (Class 3) 1500m:
Back Me: 8 Grand Rouge (Bet Now: $7.00) comes here off the back of a Randwick Highway where he did some work in the run and tried hard but was grabbed late by surprise winner Thunder Road. He can turn the tables here and greet the judge.
Big Danger: 1 Explosive Scene (Bet Now: $7.50) was very good in a highway here two back before going to Grafton where I thought he was a good thing but he just got too far back in the run when fourth to the heavily backed Kincaple Chief. He can bounce back for sure here.
Roughie: 7 Thunder Road (Bet Now: $16.00) was completely unwanted in betting when resuming in that Randwick Highway mentioned above and he looked no hope at the top of the straight but he produced a brilliant finishing burst to get the job done. Can he repeat the dose? Not sure, but I won’t rule him out.

Race Four (13:30) : Casino Prince @ Vinery Handicap (85) 1350m:
Back Me: 7 Extensible (Bet Now: $2.90) resumed here two weeks ago and closed off well late I thought when second to form mare Elle Lou. Should take good benefit from that outing and is a definite leading contender.
Big Danger: 8 Lycia (Bet Now: $6.50) ran at Randwick last time out and for a few strides looked the winner but she was bloused late by stablemate Monogram. Adkins and his claim is a big help and she should go close here.
Roughie: 4 Frill Seeking (Bet Now: $14.00) comes through that Elle Lou race where she sat on speed and fought on well to run fourth. Loses nothing with Heywood steering, she’s hard fit and she will be out of trouble on speed.

Race Five (14:05) : TAB Rewards Handicap (72) 1200m:
Back Me: 3 Interstellar (Bet Now: $10.00) is a quality filly that makes her Australian debut for Team Hawkes. Brings some solid form over and looked sharp in a recent trial win here. Looks classy and should go close.
Big Danger: 1 Labdien (Bet Now: $9.00) is a quality filly that resumes for Chris Waller. She contested some really good races during the Autumn, including a couple at Stakes level. Trial behind Interstellar was encouraging and she has class.
Roughie: 5 Modha (Bet Now: $9.00) ran at Canterbury a couple of weeks back and was okay without setting the world on fire behind Dee Nine Elle. Bigger track helps and senior rider engaged.

Race Six (14:45) : McGrath Estate Agents Plate 1400m:
Back Me: 3 We’re Sure (Bet Now: $6.00) was a strong first up winner prior to going to Flemington for the Creswick Final where the run was very solid behind Lord Von Costa. Drops back to this level now and should take some beating.
Big Danger: 10 Dee Nine Elle (Bet Now: $4.60) is on the back up for Tony Gollan after racing last Saturday at Canterbury where she was a touch tardy to begin with and that cost her dearly when beaten on the peg by Pioneering. With a cleaner getaway, she will go close.
Roughie: 6 High Dreamer (Bet Now: $8.00) ran over the Wyong mile a couple of weeks back and was quite dominant in winning. Back to 1400m is a slight worry, but stable is flying at the moment.

Race Seven (15:25) : Winter Challenge 1500m:
Back Me: 9 Himalaya Dream (Bet Now: $9.50) was a surprise but strong winner here two back before racing at Randwick where he sat back in the run and closed off okay late behind Farolitos. Back on the home track now and should take some beating.
Big Danger: 5 Sacred Master (Bet Now: $21.00) creates some good interest. This former kiwi is now with Chris Waller after winning the Avondale Cup before running a game placing in the Group l Auckland Cup. Recent trial was encouraging and he has class.
Roughie: 4 Ruling Dynasty (Bet Now: $21.00) is a very interesting runner. Resumes for James Cummings and is heading towards the Spring so whatever he does here he will improve on, but the trials have been encouraging.

Back Me: 6 Avonaco (Bet Now: $9.00) is on the back up after racing last Saturday at Canterbury where he seemingly had the charmed run behind the tempo but couldn’t quite finish it off. Back up to 1350 looks ideal and is on the seven day turnaround.
Big Danger: 9 Dragon Flyer (Bet Now: $6.00) resumed over 1200m here a couple of weeks back when closing off alright late to run third to Isorich. Should take good improvement off that and take some beating here.
Roughie: 7 Shadow Lord (Bet Now: $11.00) is hard to trust but drops in depth after contesting the Winter Stakes here a fortnight back when closing off well behind Oxford Poet. Draws a gold gate and gets the services of Tommy Berry.

Back Me: 10 Cheeky Babe (Bet Now: $4.60) resumed at Canterbury last month and was a real eye catcher when close up behind Princess Command. Recent Randwick trial was very good and she finds her race here.
Big Danger: 5 This Is Australia (Bet Now: $8.00) resumed at Canterbury and ran well behind Arise Augustus before attempting to lead all the way at Wyong where he couldn’t quite finish it off. Looks better suited on a bigger track and should be at peak fitness.
Roughie: 6 I Can Rock (Bet Now: $12.00) comes here off the back of a fast finishing fourth in the Sir James Kirby during the Grafton Carnival. Form prior in town was solid and this doesn’t appear to be a strong race.
