12 Change My Address (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top. John Sargent trained filly that resumed at Gosford where she got back and although she was never a winning threat, she did make up good headway behind Banjora, who would have been $1.50 had he lined up here. She’ll do me.

3 Zoutastic (Bet Now:  $SP.00) will jump on speed and give his all, as seen a fortnight back here. He attempted to lead throughout and gave a decent sight from the front but just couldn’t quite see it through behind Mal Coupe. Good racing style, he’ll give a decent sight.

8 Apache Breeze (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1100m after racing over 1000m two weeks back in the Midway at this track. He got off speed and while he was never threatening, he kept chasing and was pretty good late in the piece. Not sure he can win but is a must for exotics.

19 Blue De Beers (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a talented three year old for Clint Lundholm that comes to town off the back of a dominant win at Dubbo, sitting on speed throughout and was trucking before being clicked up and away he went to win and win well. Looks suited at the short course, keen to see how he goes.

3 Neil (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was met with good market support when resuming over 1110m at Doomben a few weeks back but he just found them too sharp and was never really a factor behind Zoubaby. Fitter, he’s a definite improver.

20 Marine Girl (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is flying for Nick Olive. She has won her past two, both over this trip. Firstly, she was impressive at Orange on testing ground and backed it up with an even more sharp display at Queanbeyan. Confident she can measure up.

10 Golden Century (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks a nice stayer resuming for Chris Waller and could be a sleeper towards the Sydney Cup. He ended last prep with a down the track effort over 2800m on Cup Day at Flemington. End of prep run I think but his recent trial work has been quite good.

11 Furious (Bet Now:  $SP.00) takes beating here for mine after racing over the mile two weeks ago here, back from this trip when a winner the start prior. He got back and held up but when clear, he kept chasing and was pretty good in defeat. Better set up here, he commands respect.

9 Casual Connection (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is hit and miss at times but he wasn’t too bad two weeks back over the mile here behind Jamberoo. He got back in the run and while he was never threatening, he kept chasing and was pretty good late in the piece. Not sure he can win but can run first four at odds.

2 Spicy Miss (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since resuming in the Lonhro Plate at Randwick when near the speed, cutting back inside and was there to win but first up, condition just gave way late when second. Fitter, 1200m, she appeals.

6 Pembrey… (Bet Now:  $SP.00) just how good is she? Debuted two weeks ago at Eagle Farm and she made an absolute mess of them, sitting on speed and once clicked up, away she went and was outstanding in the run to the line. The time…I’d say a touch flattering because the track got worse as the day went and she had first look on fresh ground. But, she looks above average and J Mac is booked.

8 Hardanger (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is four weeks between runs since contesting the Widden. She got beaten for early speed and got back but didn’t mind the way she finished her race off. Better for that and rising to 1200m, she’s dangerous.

This race and the Golden Slipper is around 4 Warwoven (Bet Now:  $SP.00) and where he is at. If he’s near his best, he wins this and I dare say wins the Slipper. But the setback pre Magic Millions, how much has that interrupted his prep? The fact he hasn’t had a public trial is a slight worry but in terms of race day form, he’s clearly top seed for this and the big one in three weeks.

11 Central Europe… (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is he the unraced one that could stand up and be a Slipper contender? His trial work says he is humming, the latest being on Monday at Rosehill behind Paradoxium. Good grounding for start one, watch betting.

7 High Alert (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Team Freedman trained colt that has been solid in two runs in Melbourne in the Blue Diamond lead ups. Should have won the Preview but then in the Prelude, he seemed to have his chance and was fair late. He can run a bold race against these.

5 Gerringong (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was a total forgive from the Triscay I thought. She was tardy away and got back off speed, and from that point on, she was never a factor behind Weeping Woman. like the rise to 1400m and with a more positive ride, she’s dangerous.

4 Verona Rose (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was outstanding in defeat two weeks ago in the Triscay, sitting wide throughout yet launched late and tried hard in defeat behind Weeping Woman. Good upside to come, rising to 1400m, she rates highly against these.

2 Arctic Glamour (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a beauty for Ryan/Alexiou. Won the Hot Danish first up last prep, ending the campaign with a midfield effort in The Ingham. Loved the way she has trialled leading in, she commands respect.

It’s hard to be against 1 Tempted (Bet Now:  $SP.00), though I will say, I don’t think she is the moral that most think she is. Yes, she was arrogant in the Eskimo Prince, but that form didn’t exactly stand up in the Hobartville last Saturday and I do have a slight query on this girl running 1400m. But, she looks lengths better than the rest of the fillies and barring bad luck, she should be too good.

Giving respect to 3 Ole Dancer (Bet Now:  $SP.00). Total forgive/forget first up in the Desirable…less said the better re the ride, but she was very good late behind Sass Appeal given the race shape. More genuinely run 1400m this time around, she’ll be strong late and hopefully for her supporters, she gets ridden with more intent.

I think the Light Fingers was a crap race, but the filly to take from it into this IMO is 5 Karinska (Bet Now:  $SP.00). She didn’t look ready at all re the mounting yard, but loved the way she closed off late against the race shape when fourth to Savvy Hallie. Fitter and up in trip, she’ll be strong late and is a knockout hope.

Baby Winx…need I say any more? 8 Autumn Glow (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the best in Australia, by a distance, and the arrogance of her win in the Apollo in her 2026 debut…my godfather, she looked her absolute best. Normally she takes time to wind up, but in the Apollo, J Mac pushed the button and she exploded. She should win again and we should appreciate the greatness before our eyes.

9 Aeliana (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran out of her skin in the return in the Apollo. She chased strongly from off speed but was never threatening stablemate Autumn Glow. She’ll love the rise to 1600m, good upside, has class…but is bumping into a freak. That said, she runs well once again.

3 Lindermann (Bet Now:  $SP.00) will run his usual honest race, which was seen first up in the Apollo. He lobbed on speed and looked to be jogging but he just simply had no answers for Autumn Glow. Good racing style and will be around the mark once again.

Looks to be a stack of speed engaged here and I think it will set up ideally for 7 King Of Roseau (Bet Now:  $SP.00), who has been freshened up since taking out the MM Cup at the Gold Coast, giving them a start and a beating. He’ll be strong at the end of 1300m off a hot speed…just doesn’t want too much rain to hit.

3 The Instructor (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was quite game in defeat in the Apollo I thought. He attempted to lead throughout and gave a decent kick from the front but the class of race told. That said, he stuck on really well when fourth to Autumn Glow. Back to 1300m is fine, hard fit, racing well, he appeals.

1 Coal Crusher (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate a rise in trip after resuming in the Expressway two weeks ago. He landed on speed and did try hard but just couldn’t quite go with the better ones late behind Joliestar. Better for the run, lands on speed, he’ll run an honest race.

8 Gatsby’s (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should take beating back to 1200m after racing over 1300m here two weeks ago. He landed on speed in a moderately run race and did try hard but just couldn’t quite finish it through and was nabbed late by Movin Out. Hard fit, back in trip, he appeals.

12 Mal Coupe (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a pretty sharp animal for the O’Halloran camp. Resumed with a bang in the Midway two weeks ago here, getting the sweet sit in transit before being clicked up and away he went to win and win well. Good lead that J Mac sticks and commands respect.

3 Well Timed (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Kerry Parker trained gelding that resumes. This guy is first up, having not raced since Gong Day at Kembla when down the track behind Collect Your Cash. Likely has eyes on the Provincial Championships but can sprint well fresh and maps ideally.

BEST BET: Race Eight Number 8 Autumn Glow

NEXT BEST: Race Five Number 4 Warwoven

LONG SHOT: Race Two Number 19 Blue De Beers
