Race One (12:38) : Peter Elberg Funerals Handicap (70) 1950m:
Back Me: 1 Alamonteel (Bet Now: $3.80) ran over the mile at Sandown three weeks back when sitting near the speed and fighting on well when a solid third to Dulverton. Looks ready for 1950m now and stable is in really good form.
Big Danger: 2 Optimize (Bet Now: $2.00) ran over 1800m on the course proper three weeks ago and kicked back strongly under hard riding from the #poontrain to get the job done. He remains on the filly again, should lead again and take some beating.
Roughie: 5 Darkening (Bet Now: $2.50) ran second to Optimize in that race mentioned above where she loomed to win the race but she couldn’t quite get past the leader. Should roll forward and sit outside Optimize again and there is more upside with her. She can definitely turn the tables.

Race Two (13:13) : Irish Raceday August 27 Handicap (82) 2400m:
Back Me: 5 Bella Sposa (Bet Now: $8.50) ran over 2000m at Morphettville three weeks back where she got back in the ruck and just couldn’t get her chance to build up momentum. Up to 2400m is a big tick and with a clear run, I’ll be shocked if she doesn’t look the winner at some stage.
Big Danger: 4 Hoylake (Bet Now: $2.80) ran second in that race mentioned above before backing up seven days later over 1950m here when running fourth to surprise winner Subiaso. He will love the step up to 2400m and he should be at peak fitness now after a long layoff.
Roughie: 3 Noro Lim (Bet Now: $6.50) is a former UK galloper that made his Australian debut on the Geelon Synthetic when running fifth to General James. That was over 1900m and he is clearly looking for further, which is what he gets here straight away.

Race Three (13:52) : Schweppes Handicap (70) 1250m:
Back Me: 2 Pomp (Bet Now: $2.10) was an impressive first up winner before running a close up fourth to the Stakes class galloper Karlovasi, beaten just under two lengths. Three weeks between then and now should suit him and he gets the services of gun Hong Kong rider Kei Chiong.
Big Danger: 3 Chamois Road (Bet Now: $4.20) ran over 1300m here a fortnight ago when sitting wide with cover when a game fourth to Go The Journey. He has upside and I like that Neilson sticks.
Roughie: 6 Schizle (Bet Now: $11.00) resumed at the midweeks here last Wednesday when sitting off speed and fighting on well when running third to Ixcatan. Bit more depth here, but the fresh was encouraging and he tumbles in weight.

Race Four (14:28) : Holdfast Insurance Handicap 1400m:
Back Me: 7 Never Be Discreet (Bet Now: $2.70) ran at the midweeks over 1250m here last Wednesday when sitting on speed most of the way and fighting on well when a close up second to She’s A Storm. Chiong and her claim are a big plus and she is a definite contender.
Big Danger: 4 Wasabi Bob (Bet Now: $3.60) ran over 1300m here a fortnight back when back in the run and working home well without threatening when running third to Zunbaqa, beaten 3.5L. He looks to have good upside and the rise to 1400m will be ideal.
Roughie: 6 Autmed (Bet Now: $10.00) ran fourth in the Zunbaqa race and his effort was pretty good I thought considering he was a 100/1 pop. Draws wide, but he has the speed to overcome the tricky draw, and with natural improvement, he can be an exotic player.

Race Five (15:08) : UBET Handicap (90) 1000m:
Back Me: 4 Super Fun (Bet Now: $3.30) is one of the more in form gallopers racing in SA at the moment, putting together a good picket fence, the latest win coming at this track/distance when ridden a treat by Neilson. He can continue the picket fence.
Big Danger: 6 Usain Dane (Bet Now: $3.90) rued his heart out to beat Super Fun in that race mentioned above and he never really looked like getting the job done but he did run that horse down to 0.6L. He looks to have a bit of upside and prove tough to beat.
Roughie: 5 Alabama Missile (Bet Now: $15.00) has been given a six week freshen up since running fifth to Super Fun, who is one of the form gallopers in SA at the moment. Hard to trust, but gee on his best form he would give this race an almighty shake.

Race Six (15:48) : James Boags Premium Handicap (70) 1250m:
Back Me: 2 Miss Joolia (Bet Now: $5.50) ran over 1300m here a fortnight back when back in the run and sticking to the inside, which wasn’t the spot to be yet finished off with purpose when third to It’s No Joke. Finnegan remains on which is a good sign and she should take some beating.
Big Danger: 4 Deanna Jean (Bet Now: $7.00) ran over 1000m here two weeks ago in a pretty decent race when sixth to Super Fun, who I am keen on in the previous race. Drops a fair bit in depth and should carve over and lead.
Roughie: 1 Tableaux (Bet Now: $21.00) is a former NSW galloper that makes his SA debut for Grant Young, who has had a great run with tried horses from the east. Recent form has been shocking, but a change of scenery and training techniques, and if he brings his best form, could see him prove very hard to beat.

Race Seven (16:28) : Hughes Chauffeured Limousines Handicap (82) 1400m:
Back Me: 7 Cavaloce (Bet Now: $3.60) resumed in a 70 race at Morphettville three weeks back and though I doubt she beat much, but gee she showed a lovely turn of foot and won with a bit of authority. Steps up to better company, but she has enormous upside.
Big Danger: 10 Our Exchange (Bet Now: $6.00) ran a fortnight back where he copped severe heat on speed and did a remarkable job to finish as close as he did behind Victory Downs, who goes around as a leading contender at Flemington. Should get a lovely run near the speed and take some beating.
Roughie: 4 Eigelstein (Bet Now: $13.00) strung together two wins on the bounce before racing last Saturday at Gawler when a game fourth to Subiaso, an in form galloper in SA at the moment. Yet to prove himself on the Parks track but he is on the seven day turnaround and the stable is going very well.

Race Eight (17:05) : MAC Drink Driving? GROW UP Handicap (64) 1400m:
Back Me: 4 All Eights (Bet Now: $3.60) ran over 1200m on the course proper three weeks back when sitting off the speed and coming home well out wide but couldn’t hold out the brilliant finishing burst of Cavaloce. Third up now, so he should be ready now, and though drawn wide, he is a major contender.
Big Danger: 7 Torcida (Bet Now: $8.00) ran at the midweeks over 1250m in a maiden here last Wednesday when speeding over from the wide gate to lead by a space and gave nothing else a look in. That would have done his confidence the world of good and if he can speed over from the tricky draw again, he’ll take some beating.
Roughie: 14 Willander Miss (Bet Now: $21.00) is on the quick back up after racing on Monday at Mildura when sitting behind the speed and fighting on strongly when third to Black Mary. Carries pretty much no weight after the claim and her overall form reads very well for a race like this.
