Race One (12:10): Ipg Connect Chief De Beers Hcp 1050m:
Back Me: 1 Office Bearer (Bet Now: $6.50) is resuming from a short spell and his first up form suggests he will be very hard to beat in a race of this quality. His natural pattern is to get back which is a bit of a concern in the smallish field but if there is some speed injected he will be hitting the line hard strong late and will be tough to hold out.
Big Danger: 10 Selita (Bet Now: $2.90) is the horse in the race with some upside and her recent runs suggest she has a lot of that to come despite being disappointing last start. She is well weighted in the race and the Baker stable has been on fire of late suggesting she will be right in the finish.
Roughie: 7 Divine Service (Bet Now: $13.00) is resuming from a long spell but his fresh form is very good. He gets the services of Blake Shinn which is always a bonus and from barrier four will be given every opportunity. In a race thin in value he could be the runner to cause an upset.

Race Two (12:46) : Herbert Smith Freehills (bm85) 2000m:
Back Me: 11 Mr Lebrock (Bet Now: $8.50) i thought put in a massive run at the Gold Coast last start hitting the line strongly. The step up in distance looks like it will suit and his runs this time in looked to be spaced perfectly for Saturday. Toby Edmonds is training well and Tim Clark takes the ride and is weighted to win.
Big Danger: 1 Astronomos (Bet Now: $2.70) will have to carry a big weight in the race but that is justified as he is clearly the class runner in the field. He has never been beaten second up and its hard to see that changing on Saturday.
Roughie: 16 Sahara Siren (Bet Now: $14.00) is a lightly raced filly who has shown plenty of ability in her short racing career. She won emphatically last start albeit against lesser competition but she has stepped up to the plate every race and there is no reason she can’t do so again her. Jimmy Orman who is in fine form takes the ride and with a bit of luck from the barrier she should be in the finish.

Race Three (13:21) : Mcgrath Estate Agents Hampden 1200m:
Back Me: 9 Baltic Whisper (Bet Now: $5.50) was very good in running second at Rosehill last start and with Bowman in the saddle there is an air of confidence heading into the race. He has drawn to get a perfect run and he looks to be very hard to beat in what looks to be an open race.
Big Danger: 4 Jericho (Bet Now: $4.00) was impressive in winning at Warwick Farm last start and Cadogan came out and franked the form on Wednesday. He has a bad barrier which is a bit of a concern over the trip at Doomben but Blake Shinn has been riding well so with an ounce of luck he will be hard to beat.
Roughie: 14 Lipsync (Bet Now: $12.00) is taking a large step up in class here but his debut win showed he had plenty of ability with the first two gapping the rest of the field indicating their is plenty of ability. He has drawn to get a sit in the race and on his only start to date he could have the class to win this at good odds.

Race Four (14:01) : Property Servs Bright Shadow 1200m:
Back Me: 4 Tina Melina (Bet Now: $7.50) looks to be at a big price in the race. She has beaten a lot of these runners home in the past and i thought she was good first up in the Silk Stocking. Her second up form is much better suggesting she will improve on Saturday and in a race that looks to be quite a lot of speed she will be hard to hold out late.
Big Danger: 1 Perignon (Bet Now: $8.50) is a Group 2 winner who is capable of putting in a big run on her day. She is rated poorly here but she does have a bit of a class factor and should definitely be included.
Roughie: 3 Miss Cover Girl (Bet Now: $9.00) doesn’t win often but she has contested much harder races than this in recent runs. She was very good i thought in the Silk Stocking and if she matches that run she will be very hard to beat against this field as long as she can overcome the weight and barrier.

Race Five (14:41) : Darley Brc Sprint 1350m:
Back Me: 10 Trubia (Bet Now: $8.50) at the price looks a very good bet. He has been flying of late and there is nothing to suggest that will change on Saturday. He is very well weighted, drawn perfectly and has a very good record at the track and distance. All form factors point to a winning run.
Big Danger: 4 Artlee (Bet Now: $2.70) has been contesting some pretty hot races this preparation so this looks a little easier. He has been weighted well in the race and has drawn to get a soft run throughout, he will need a bit of luck in the straight but if he gets it he will be hard to hold out.
Roughie: 5 Bachman‘s (Bet Now: $9.00) form probably looks a little worse than what it actually is with his last few runs being in close finishes despite his placings. He has drawn the rail which will give him an easy run throughout the race and with a few things going his way he can definitely win this.

Race Six (15:21) : Magic Millions The Roses 2000m:
Back Me: 3 Imposing Lass (Bet Now: $5.00) burst onto the scene with a bit of a boom around her and rightfully so having won four of her five career starts. She was very good in winning all three of her starts this preparation and the increase in distance will only help. The only query is the barrier but if she can get some luck early allowing her to find the rail she looks the horse they will have to run down.
Big Danger: 11 Falkenberg (Bet Now: $5.00) was impressive in hitting the line last start behind Imposing Lass. She settled way back in the field and ran past most of the field suggesting the step up in distance will only see her be more competitive. Looks to be under the odds a bit but if one finishes over the top of them it looks likely it will be her but from the barrier she will need some luck in the straight.
Roughie: 4 Alaskan Rose (Bet Now: $26.00) has shown plenty of ability but fails to put it all together come race time. She will get back from the barrier and the 2000m seems to be her favoured distance. If the speed is on she will be hitting the line hard and looks the horse who can cause a bit of an upset in the race.

Race Seven (16:01) : Hardy Brothers Doomben Cup 2000m:
Back Me: 9 Noble Protector (Bet Now: $8.00) has always looked to be a G1 mare and she gets her chance to win one on Saturday in a very winnable race for her. She gets a weight allowance on the boys and the gaps between runs this preparation will see her fresh and ready to go.
Big Danger: 2 Hauraki (Bet Now: $3.20) was sent out as favourite in the Hollindale Stakes which is the major form race for this and things just didn’t go his way. He is the deserving favourite in the race and looks the horse to beat.
Roughie: 6 Messene (Bet Now: $19.00) was giving a bit of an easy kill in the Wagga Cup last start which he definitely needed. A win can often kick off a bit of a streak and he is capable of doing that although he may be just out classed against this G1 field although a win won’t surprise.

Back Me: 3 Rageese (Bet Now: $4.40) has always had class but it has taken the Weir polish to bring it out of him on race day. He has smashed his rivals in his last two starts and looks like he is just getting better and better which suggests he will be winning again on Saturday.
Big Danger: 1 Rangipo (Bet Now: $10.00) has been super impressive in New Zealand and the Kiwi’s are always hard to beat when they make the trip over so he has to be kept safe although they may be a tad to quick for him over the 1350m.
Roughie: 9 Havasay (Bet Now: $34.00) has opened at a massive price which is surprising as i thought he looked very well placed in the race. He was very good in the Gunsynd Classic last start which looks a good form race and he will get a good run from the barrier. He will get back and if the speed is on he can definitely run over the top of them at a big price.
