1. Satin Shoes – Currently the second favourite in the Golden Slipper market and like Sepoy is unbeaten so far, she meets a small quality field tomorrow and will be in the finish but i wouldnt be surprised if there was an upset and she was beaten.
2. Anise –Won well on debut at Rosehill last year, she returned last start and ran 2nd behind the very smart Foxwedge. Should improve from the run, will most likely go to the front and be hard to run down. Good place hopes.
3. Defiant Dame – Was beaten a long way last start by Shared Reflections at Warwick Farm, cannot see her figuring in the placings tomorrow.
4. Fast And Sexy – Will start as the rank outsider in the race tomorrow, i thought he trial during the week was very good she obviously steps up in class but i dont think she is the worst in the race. Ran on very well in the Magic Millions behind Karuta Queen and looks to have improved. At big odds i give her a good place hope.
5. Elite Falls – The only runner to be supported outside of Satin Shoes, she hit the line very strongly last start behind her over 1100m the step up to 1200m looks like it will suit perfectly. Depending on the speed in the race i think she is a great chance of beating the favourite tomorrow.
6. Cape City Flyer – Definitely the horse we know the least about, won well in a midweek maiden at Canterbury. Will most likely head to the front with Anise although i cant see her winning or placing tomorrow.
