We take a look at tomorrow’s 2010 Caulfield Cup over 2400m, in what looks to be a very open race last years Melbourne Cup winner Shocking will more than likely start favourite for the 2.4million dollar race. With the recent rain Melbourne has received the track will more than likely start as Heavy which will play a major factor in the betting.
Shocking, looks to start favourite for tomorrow’s Caulfield Cup due to Alcopop drawing the outside barrier, Shocking has been in fantastic form of late and looks to be one of the majoy players in the race we will definitely be including him into our multiples although with the current weather and track conditions we are looking for something with a bit more value.

Alcopop, opened favourite once the fields were released although after the barrier draw in which he drew the outside (barrier 22) saw him drift to his current quote of $9 despite jumping from the widest barrier we steal feel he is a decent winning chance and at the odds we will be including him in our mutiples.
Harris Tweed, one of the runners who will prefer running on the Heavy track the New Zealander will be use to the conditions and with inform jockey B Rawiller he will get a perfect run in transit from barrier 8, at his current odds of $21 we feel he is a great each way chance.
Jessicabeel, the market would suggest she has no chance although with the condition of the track i think it will suit her a lot more than most runners. She is relatively untried in the wet which is a small concern although it will be a tough 2400m race tomorrow and she will stay all day. Currently $81.
It looks a very tough race to predict with a lot of different form lines heading into the race and now the weather conditions not suiting some of the more fancied runners thus we have decided to only have a small each way bet on an ousider ‘Jessicabeel’ it looks a race in which our bets will most likely be trifecta’s, first fours as it looks like a race which could see an outsider win.
