RACE 1 – BETFAIR HANDICAP 1800m
Race number one kicks off at 1:00 AEST on an excellent days racing both from Adelaide and indeed all around Australia. Coldens Choice (3) for the Chris Symons- Greg Eurell combination has been racing in tremendous fashion in Victoria and deserves his chance in this small field. Trust In Magic (1) has been racing well as has Golden Tabby (2).

RACE 2 – VEOLIA ENVIRONMENTAL HANDICAP 1200m
Believe In More (3) goes into the second event as our top tip. The 4 year old son on More Than Ready gets in well at the weights and has solid all round form. A Wee Dram (11) ran second to Believe In More last start and that quinella could very well be repeated again. Through Ronorik (10) in your multiples.

RACE 3 – SHARON FORRESTER-JONES QUEEN ADELAIDE STAKES 1050m
Motifs (4) for the Patinack Farm juggernaught looks to have the strongest credentials ahead of the fourth race from Morpehttville. The 2 year old filly led last start in a Blue Diamond Prelude and faded to run seventh. She looks to have the class factor. Donna Cecilia (8) looks a solid chance for the placings and Anythingthatmoves (1) is handy.

RACE 4 – ROXBY HOURGLASS JEWELLERS HANDICAP 1200m
Condelago (1) is a horse that I have a lot of time for. He had two runs in Melbourne over the Spring Carnival last year and ran solidly in both Group 3 and Group 2 company. He has returned with a trial win and his class will take him a long way. Caplamp (4) is no slouch and was beaten by the promising Do Ra Mi at Sandown Lakeside last start and Conduction (5) could run a place.

RACE 5 – ALLAN SCOTT PARK MORPHETTVILLE HANDICAP 1050m
Broken (3) looks the one to beat over the sprint trip. He will no doubt be the one punters anchor in the first leg of their quaddies and rightly so. He bounced back hard last start defeating Stirling Grove over the 1000m and this is his race to lose. Sandusky City (7) is Broken’s main danger and is capable of running a very cheeky race. Bella Leah (8) wont be far off.

RACE 6 – MICHAEL WRIGHT MP HANDICAP 1600m
This second leg of the quaddie is extremely difficult. Fantastic Glen (8) was our top tip a few weeks back but was scratched. So we are remaining loyal and nominating
her our top tip in the sixth. Victorian jockey Dean Yendall should utilise barrier 6 well and look for Fantastic Glen (8) to be settling in the first four or five runners and run well. Public Holiday (9) should have more wins to her name than just two from 17 starts and must be respected whilst Homicide Hank (2) won well last start and should be thereabouts.

Homocide Hank (2)
RACE 7 – CLEAN S.A PORT ADELAIDE CUP 2019m
We are under the assumption Larry’s Never Late (1) will more than likely be scratched from the seventh and will run in Melbourne so I’ll leave the top spot vacant for something else. Foxham (5) goes on top and his form says it all. His last start second behind our fave Rivers Lane holds him in good stead for this. Maunatrice (6) deserves a crack at a race like this and she will be up there. Big Ted (4) is the West Australian runner who will be leading and no doubt be giving his backers plenty of cheek.

RACE 8 – SPORTINGBET HANDICAP 1200m
A hard race closes out the eight race program at Morphettvile and Royal Tern (3) looks a good each way bet. Both of his two wins have come this year and he looks well placed to take last race honours. Salicone (8) is handy on her day and has won second up and Cruziero (12) should improve on last start. Play it safe in the last.

BEST BET: Running Double – Morphettville Races: Race 4 #1 and Race 5 #3.
