The final Group 1 race of the 2019 Queensland Winter Racing Carnival jumps on Saturday at Eagle Farm for the Tattersall’s Tiara, with the weight-for-age race comprising a field jam-packed with genuine talent. Chris Waller is certainly well represented with no less than five runners, including defending champion Prompt Response.

However, Godolphin blue holds early favouritism, with four-year-old daughter of Street Cry, Savatiano, opening as the early favourite following a convincing win in the 1300m Moreton Stakes in May. This will be her second crack at a Group 1 win and trainer James Cummings will be confident both she and fellow Godolphin gallopers Pohutukawa and Multaja can be in the mix at the line.

Combined with a highly-anticipated Battle of the Bush final in Race 6, punters are in for a cracking day at the Eagle Farm track this Saturday.

Ladbrokes is offering punters the chance to start in front at the jump this Saturday, with an extra 30% on top of fixed odds in races 1-4 at Eagle Farm and Flemington paid as cash, not bonus bets. (First win bets only. Max bet $50. Promotional T&Cs apply and available on website.)
