Black Caviar’s son Prince Of Caviar has stepped out once again in a jump out at Flemington this morning in preparation for his first start.
Prince Of Caviar jumped out over 800m at Flemington this morning in which his mums former jockey Luke Nolen took the ride.
“He worked home nicely, so he did everything that was asked for him,” said his co-trainer Wayne Hawkes.
“He just jumped good, he just sat in behind the leaders and Luke just pulled him out after they went about 600m and just popped him around.”
“He’s always shown ability, he’s always had an ability right from the get go,” he added.
“He’s done everything right, he’s a boy that’s going to be a man and he’s going to be a three-year-old.
“We’re hoping to get a run out of him as a two-year-old then just put him away, that would be the ideal but we need to see how he’s pulled up and how he is the next couple of days and let him tell us.” Hawkes told racing.com
Prince Of Caviar who is by Sebring has now had four jump outs and is likely to have a run this season although the intention was always to prepare the valuable colt for his 3yo season.
