Barry Hills is considering the options for Redwood following his fine second in the Dubai Sheema Classic at Meydan last month.
The five-year-old scooped well over STG500,000 ($A774,533) for chasing home Godolphin’s Rewilding on World Cup night, and his trainer must now make plans for the remainder of the campaign.
“He’s got options of the Jockey Club Stakes at Newmarket, the Hardwicke at Royal Ascot, the Coronation Cup at Epsom and a race in Japan in June,” Hills said.
“I’ll have to talk to Teddy Grimthorpe (racing manager to owner Khalid Abdullah), as Prince Khalid has Midday and Workforce, and we are really third on the list.
“He’ll need a break at some point, as there is Canada to think about later in the year.”
