Melbourne Cup winner Cross Counter kicks off his 2019 campaign at Meydan this Saturday in the Dubai Gold Cup (3200m) and is the favourite to resume a winner.
The Charlie Appleby trained galloper hasn’t raced since scoring a famous win at Flemington in the Melbourne Cup. He returns to racing on another big stage and is the favourite at $2.62.
Stablemate Ispolini is second elect at $3.50, just ahead of Call The Wind at $3.75 and that trio really stifle betting, with next best being Prince Of Arran at $17.
