Regal Realm will chart a route towards the Fillies’ Mile following her fine victory at Goodwood on Saturday.
The Jeremy Noseda-trained youngster overcame severe traffic problems to take the Group Three Prestige Stakes by a short head.
Noseda is now adamant a step up to a mile (1600m) at Newmarket on September 23 will be made to measure.
“I was very pleased with Regal Realm’s performance,” the trainer told his website.
“Everything went wrong in the race, yet she showed class and courage to fight back and get herself up on the line, it having looked a forlorn task with less than a furlong (200m) to run.
“She has come out of the race very well and we will head to the Fillies’ Mile next.
“The step up to a mile will be in her favour.
“I think it will also further suit her when she is in a race where there is a strong pace throughout.”
Noseda, meanwhile, nominated the Cambridgeshire as being the next staging post for the progressive Dare To Dance, who won with some authority at Newmarket on Saturday.
Stablemate Sud Pacifique, also victorious at Beverley on the same afternoon, could next be sighted in a middle-distance handicap during the St Leger fixture at Doncaster.
