The Shea Eden trained Housay has stamped himself as a horse to watch after smashing his rivals by seven lengths at Wodonga on Tuesday.
Trainer Shea Eden was confident heading into the race all but saying the horse ‘will win’ and his confidence was justified with the son of Zebedee gapping the field.
“I don’t tip many and last time I did I had egg on my face, but I do expect the horse to be very hard to beat,” Eden said.
“Other than bad luck he shouldn’t get beat today.”
Housay was sent out as the heavily backed $2.50 favourite with Sportsbet and his trainer and the market were spot on with the horse never in doubt in the seven length romp.
Housay was a $100,000 Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Sale purchase.
