Wodonga trainer Brian Cox will face charges over the use of anabolic steroids found the morning of the Wangaratta races on March 10th which resulted in his horses being scratched. Cox will also face an inquiry into his threatening behaviour towards two stewards.
Stewards are also considering charging Brian Cox over threatening behaviour.
Cox reportedly grappled steward Dion Villella as well as pushed Rhys Melville when confronted over the banned substance found in Cox’s fridge.
The inquiry heard that the behaviour shown was outcome of Cox suffering from anxiety, depression, heart disease, arthritis and stress.
