The stop-start career of apprentice Tahlia Hope has been temporarily halted again following a fall at Wangaratta.
Hope fell from Hold My Beer in the final stages of the Refridgetech Handicap on Monday.
The Victorian Jockeys’ Association said scans had revealed Hope had a fractured collarbone.
She claimed her first Saturday city double at Caulfield last month.
After scoring her maiden metropolitan double at Sandown in January, she injured some ribs later that month in a trackwork fall at Seymour resulting in a stint on the sidelines.
That followed an accident at the Ballarat jump-outs in March last year when she suffered a fractured ankle.
The injury was initially expected to keep her sidelined for three months but eventually kept her out of the saddle for six months.
