The Grahame Begg-trained pair of Ilovethiscity and Secret Admirer will step up their spring preparations in a star-studded set of trials at Warwick Farm on Friday.
Originally set down for Tuesday, the barrier trials were put back three days due to Sydney’s recent wet weather.
Secret Admirer will line up in an 800m Open trial against the likes of Doncaster Mile heroine Sacred Choice, Group performer Trusting and promising filly Red Tracer.
Group One Flight Stakes winner Secret Admirer missed the autumn due to a minor leg issue and Begg has earmarked the Listed Toy Show Quality (1300m) at Warwick Farm on August 20 for her resumption.
Ilovethiscity, winner of the Group One Randwick Guineas (1600m) during the autumn, will also step out over 800m in a sharp heat which boasts Triple Elegance, Neeson and Pinwheel.
The three-year-old has not raced since his game fifth to Sacred Choice in the Doncaster in April.
He is also scheduled to resume on Warwick Stakes day in the Listed Show County Quality (1200m).
The opening two-year-old trial will also attract interest with Silver Slipper winner Satin Shoes, the Darley pair of Anise and Glissade and smart fillies Streama and Pane In The Glass.
Chairman’s Handicap winner, the Gai Waterhouse-trained Once Were Wild, will tackle a 1200-metre heat.
