Three time Group One winner and joint Champion miler Fierce Impact has been retired to stand at Leneva Park stud.
The imported European breed stayer race in Australia twenty two times for trainer Matthew Williams, winning five times including three at G1 level and placing a further ten times.
The son of Champion Japanese sire Deep Impact amassed over $3.3million in earnings through his twenty nine start career.
Fierce Impact will now stand at stud at Leneva Park in Victoria.
“It’s incredibly exciting for our farm but also for the Victorian breeding industry,” said Mick Sharkie, Leneva Park General Manager & Bloodstock Manager.
“Fierce Impact has been a super racehorse, so tough and durable and obviously an elite talent at the highest level in Australia. He’s one of Deep Impact’s top five all-time performers so there is immense quality there for breeders to access from 2021 onwards.”
