A ten-year-old gelding will have his first career start on Friday when Ole Snip lines up in the third at Rockhampton.
Ole Snip is trained and owned by Vic Heading in Yeppoon with the gelding having had one trial in lead up to the race where he ran last beaten over ten lengths.
Ole Snip is likely to jump as the rank outsider in a rather weak race with trainer Heading having not trained a place getter in his last fifty tries.
The 10yo gelding is out of stallion My Joy who was sent to the UAE in 2009.
