Rothfire is the odds on favourite for Saturday's Golden Rose
Star Queensland gelding Rothfire headlines a small field for Saturday’s Group One Golden Rose at Rosehill.
Rothfire despite drawing a wide gate has opened as the odds on favourite ($1.75) with bookies and looks the horse to beat following his dominant win in the G2 Run To The Rose.
Rothfire beat arguably a stronger field in the Run To The Rose last start so there are no surprises he is the short priced favourite in this weekends G1 Golden Rose with the market indicating his biggest threats are Ole Kirk and North Pacific.
