Australia’s three sprinters have arrived safely in England ahead of their missions at Royal Ascot.
Brazen Beau, Wandjina and Shamal Wind are now stabled at Newmarket after a 30-hour flight from Melbourne with International Racehorse Transport.
“The Australian #RoyalAscot runners have arrived safely in the UK,” IRT said via Twitter on Friday morning.
The Robert Smerdon-trained Shamal Wind will run in the King’s Stand Stakes on June 16, the opening day of the Royal meeting while Wandjina will represent the Gai Waterhouse stable in the Diamond Jubilee four days later.
Trainer Chris Waller will make a decision which race Brazen Beau runs in subject to the weather with the colt not as effective on wet ground.
Experienced international traveller Criterion is already settled at Newmarket having travelled to England after racing in Hong Kong in late April.
