Stewards are looking into vision of today’s VOBIS Gold Mile after jockey Craig Williams reported to stewards that he was bitten by So Si Bon immediately after they jumped.
So Si Bon has been suspended from racing twice before for biting although this is the first time he has bitten a jockey during a race.
In So Si Bon’s defence jockey Andrew Mallyon stated that it definitely was not a bite although Williams will be examined by doctors.
No further action will be taken against So Si Bon although steward Terry Bailey has warned that his future nominations for race could be rejected if the behaviour persists.
