Racing Victoria is in talks with the local government around crowds returning to races with the release of new framework for COVID-19 restrictions.
RV on Sunday announced that they will be discussing whether crowds will be allowed back to the races after Victoria today went 24 days without a new COVID-19 case.
“RV notes the Victorian Government’s announcement today of a public events framework allowing for applications to be made for larger gatherings under COVID safe protocols.”
“RV, Country Racing Victoria (CRV) and the Metropolitan Clubs will be discussing this announcement with the Government over the coming days to best understand the framework and the opportunities it presents for Victorian racing.”
