Quality field to race for $1million in The Gong

A quality field of sixteen horses have accepted to run in Saturdays $1million dollar The Gong at Kembla Grange.

The Gong a relatively new race on the calendar has attracted a strong group of milers this weekend with the Chris Waller trained Mister Sea Wolf to carry the top weight of 60kg in the handicap event.

Bookmaker Sportsbet installed the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained Dawn Passage as the $4.60 all-in favourite for the race and he is set to hold that tag after drawing the inside barrier.
