Glamour mare More Joyous will have just six rivals as she looks to claim her fifth Group One success in Saturday’s Queen Of The Turf Stakes at Rosehill.

The Queen Of The Turf (1500m) is one of five Group One races on Golden Slipper day with the final fields declared on Wednesday for the Queen Of The Turf, the Vinery Stud Stakes (2000m) and George Ryder Stakes (1500m).

The $3.5 million Golden Slipper (1200m) and $2.25 million The BMW (2400m) fields and barrier draws were finalised on Tuesday.

Among More Joyous’ rivals in the fillies and mares weight-for-age contest is dual Group One winner Melito, the Peter Moody-trained Set For Fame and last-start Coolmore Classic runner-up Jersey Lily.

More Joyous, winner of 13 of her 17 starts, is unbeaten in her past nine Sydney starts stretching back to September 2009 and has barrier two with regular jockey Nash Rawiller to ride.

There were 15 acceptors for the Group One George Ryder with warhorse Theseo to carry the number one saddlecloth from barrier 12.

The weight-for-age feature has nine individual Group One winners engaged including defending champion Danleigh, three-year-olds Ilovethiscity and Skilled, Coolmore Classic winner Aloha and New Zealanders Wall Street and King Mufhasa.

In the Vinery Stud Stakes (2000m) for three-year-old fillies, VRC Oaks winner and AJC Australian Oaks favourite Brazilian Pulse headlines a field of 11 which includes fellow Melbourne visitors Pinker Pinker and Do Ra Mi.

Brazilian Pulse, with Craig Williams to ride, has barrier six and is backing up after her Keith Nolan Classic (1800m) win at Rosehill last Saturday.
