The ban preventing controversial Caulfield Cup-winning jockey Danny Nikolic from entering racecourses during race meetings will remain in place.
The Court of Appeal has upheld the Victorian Police chief commissioner’s challenge to a decision which overturned the ban on the basis that Nikolic “was not provided with details of adverse allegations against him”.
The court on Friday ruled the non-disclosure of the information did not breach procedural fairness, and that the Supreme Court decision to quash the exclusion order should be set aside.
