
Multiple Group 1 winner and New Zealand Horse Of The Year ‘Bonneval’ is nearing a return after she missed the Autumn due to injury.
Bonneval who has been sidelined since the start of the year due to a suspensory ligament issue which saw her miss the Autumn Racing Carnival and threaten her racing careeer but will soon return to the Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman’s training base at Cambridge.
“She’s looking good and she’ll be back in the stable next week, along with Jon Snow, and we are hopefully looking toward the Melbourne spring with them again,” said Murray Baker.
The star NZ mare started as third favourite in last years Caulfield Cup which was her last run.
