Jockey James McDonald has been booked to ride Melbourne Cup favourite Yucatan in this years edition of the race.
McDonald rode Yucatan to an impressive win in Saturday’s Herbert Power Stakes and will retain the ride in the Melbourne Cup 2018 on November 7th.
Yucatan is currently the $8.50 favourite.
