New Zealander Turn Me Loose has been the best-backed runner in the weight-for-age C F Orr Stakes at Caulfield.
Trained by Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman, Turn Me Loose will be having his first start in Saturday’s Orr (1400m) since his win in the Group One Emirates Stakes in November.
He has firmed in early markets from $6 to $5 and will jump from barrier 10 of 18 in field containing 13 individual Group One winners.
Turn Me Loose defeated Group One winner Volkstok’n’barrell in a barrier trial in New Zealand last week.
Lucky Hussler retains favouritism for the Orr Stakes at $4.60 after drawing barrier eight.
Douglas Whyte will travel from Hong Kong to ride Boban who at $7.50, is the only other runner under double figures.
