Multiple Group 1 winner Bonneval won’t be seen this Autumn after suffering a minor strain to a suspensory ligament.
Bonneval was set to resume in the G1 Haunui Farm WFA Classic (1600m) in New Zealand on Saturday before running the G1 Bonecrusher New Zealand Stakes (2000m) a fortnight later.
Following the New Zealand Group Ones, the Underwood Stakes & Australian Oaks winner was scheduled to kick off her Sydney campaign in the G1 Ranvet Stakes (2000m) at Rosehill on March 24.
Co-trainer Andrew Forsman took to Twitter on Friday morning to announce the news.
