Apprentice Jordan Childs will need to win an appeal against a careless riding suspension if he is to keep his rides at Moonee Valley.
Childs is booked for four rides on Saturday’s Moonee Valley program but has an appeal hearing on Thursday morning.
The son of former top jockey Greg Childs, was banned for seven meetings after being found guilty of careless riding aboard the winner Show A Star in a 1600m race at Ballarat last Saturday.
The apprentice is booked to ride Well Sighted, Renew, Master Reset and General Groove at Moonee Valley.
